Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana
Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana is conceived as a holistic Programme covering all aspects of Self-employment such as organization of the poor into Self Help Groups (SHGs), Training, Credit, technology, infrastructure, & marketing. The main objective under SGSY is to bring assisted family above the poverty line.
This is a new self-employment program to improve incomes of rural poor households through promotion of micro-enterprise by providing them income-generating assets through a mix of bank credit & government subsidy. The Centre and the States in the ratio of 75:25 will fund SGSY.
Sampoorna Gramin Rojgar Yojana
1.The SGRY open to all rural poor who are in need of wage employment and desire to do manual and unskilled work in and around his village/habitat. The program is self-targeting in nature
2.The program implemented as a centrally sponsored scheme on cost sharing basis between the Centre and the State in the ratio of 75:25 of the cash component of the Program. Food grains provided to the States free of cost.
Drinking Water Schemes
The works of water supply taken under BHARAT NIRMAN Program
The scheme are taken up in not tackled (NC) partially tackled (PC)
Villages. The Program is demand base. The works are taken under the control of Village water & Sanitation Committee, The population contribution of 5 to 10% to be collected by benificers.
